Liverpool Waters – Energisation of the Leep T3 Turnkey Project
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the T3 project, at Trafalgar Dock, Liverpool Waters. This monumental achievement marks a significant milestone for Leep Utilities as it stands as our first 100% self-delivered turnkey project.
The project involved the design, procurement, construction/installation of an 11kV/33kV Brush transformer, increasing the capacity to 20MVA. A crucial milestone for Peel L&P supporting the development of Liverpool Waters in the coming years.
We are delighted to share that the T3 project was completed on budget, a testament to our meticulous planning and efficient execution. This achievement highlights our ability to manage resources effectively while ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Mike Hooper, Head of Asset Management, stated that it was a significant achievement and that the team's performance was a credit to the business, stating, "Our first 100% self-delivered/managed turnkey project end to end. It's been an all-round team effort and just shows what we can achieve, even with the challenges and variations in scope that have arisen in the last 18 months."
